In the workshop students will learn the first two of the many weave patterns that can be used alone or combined in various ways to create a hand made piece of wearable art.
Students will learn how to properly stitch beads onto cloth and how to take the beaded cloth and turn it into a Barrett.
Students will learn several methods of wrapping and decorating a large feather that can be hung on the wall or used for smudging.
This workshop will touch on a little of the history of the craft, where it is today, fire safety and the steps and creation of making a functional bottle opener where each individual attendee can add their own personal touch and take home.
